We have a specialist child care team led by Elton Aliaj.  Elton regularly acts for the children the subject of the proceedings, whether that be in public proceedings involving a Local Authority or private proceedings, involving issues of contact. He is a member of the Law Society Children Panel, as a representative of both children and parents. Elton undertakes cases where the Local Authority has commenced proceedings for care, supervision, special guardianship or adoption orders in respect of children. He will also attend pre-proceedings meetings to either try to help avoid a matter going to Court, or to help in a resolution of the difficulties before they get to Court. Because of the large amount of time he spends in Court, Elton relies on his staff working as a team.
